Gas Processing
Aksu Exploration has an emphasis on increasing processing capacity, delivering gas, and generating energy at its own power plants. In order to assure the best performance of connected petroleum gas consumption, Aksu Exploration employs the most up-to-date equipment in all of its areas. An integrated system for gathering and using the gas must include the processing of associated petroleum gas.
The Company’s gas processing plant is a cutting-edge facility that can create liquid hydrocarbons and dry stripped gas, both of which are extensively used in Russian industry and trade. The plant’s goods are of a high caliber and adhere to technical standards set by the state and the Customs Union. In 2021, Aksu Exploration established the Gas Processing Division (UPG), which pioneered the integrated approach to gas processing growth. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), dry stripped gas, and natural gas totaled 5 million cubic meters shipped by Aksu Exploration in 2022. 14% of all gas exports were made by Aksu Exploration , which sold 5 million cubic meters of gas. International gas sales climbed by 3% over the previous year to 2 million cubic meters because to increasing gas production.
The Aksu Exploration has been collaborating with significant gas processing facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation (Tuimazinskoye GPC and Shkapovskoye GPC), the Orenburg area, the Samara region (Otradnenskiy GPP and Neftegorskiy GPP), and the Otradnenskiy GPP and Neftegorskiy GPP regions. Otradnenskiy GPP and Neftegorskiy GPP process related petroleum gas from Samaraneftegaz’s oil and gas sources and technological hydrocarbons mix from Orenburgneft’s oil and gas fields to create the following product line:
2022 saw the processing of 11.6 mcm of related petroleum gas by Otradnenskiy GPP and Neftegorskiy GPP (55.5 and 56.1, respectively). The following products were made: 61.8 mcm of lean dry gas, 57.3 kt of natural gas liquids, 94.3 kt of ethanoic fraction, and 8.7 kt of technical gas lump sulfur. In order to increase production efficiency and safety, Otradnenskiy GPP and Neftegorskiy GPP are currently implementing a program of complete technical improvement and replacement of antiquated equipment. In order to process associated petroleum gas and unstable gas condensate that are delivered from the oil and gas production areas, Aksu Exploration has two distinct production sites (Pokrovskaya gas processing facility and Zaikinskoye GPC), which together create the following product range:
The related petroleum gas and unstable gas condensate processed in 2022 by Aksu Exploration GPC totaled 154.8 mcm. The following products were made: 53.4 mcm of combustible natural stripped dry gas, 97.5 kt of technical propane-butane, 16.3 kt of vehicle propane-butane, 17.1 kt of technical propane, 14.2 kt of technical butane, 60.4 kt of stable gas gasoline, and 2.2 kt of technical gas lump sulfur.
