Liquefied petroleum gas
Propane, butane, and propane-butane technical mixture liquefied gas are all available for purchase from Aksu Exploration with delivery included. We are prepared to do urgent deliveries in any quantity using our own, specialized trucks. light fractions are corrected. These products can be used as a fuel material for motor vehicle power plants due to their favorable physicochemical properties. Liquefied gas is more widely used since it is more affordable than other fuels. The chemical industry also has a demand for liquefied hydrocarbon (petroleum) gas as a raw material. During the extraction of oil and during its processing, petroleum gases meeting GOST 20448-90 are obtained.
Chemical formula of hydrocarbon gas
Hydrocarbon gas’s chemical composition Petroleum gases typically combine two hydrocarbon compounds:
– propane (chemical formula C3H8);
– butane (chemical formula C4H10).
They also contain unsaturated hydrocarbons like propylene and ethylene. These substances are aromatized to guarantee their safety in usage. This is done in order to produce a distinctive, lingering odor that is unpleasant even at 1/5 of the air’s explosive hydrocarbon gas concentration. Ethantimol, a flavoring ingredient that also includes sulfur compounds, is utilized. Small amounts of entymol can also be found in oil, and it smells strongly.
Main characteristics of liquefied carbon gas (LPG)
The ability of petroleum gas to sustain both liquid and gaseous states in confined containers is one of its most crucial properties. Part of the gas condenses during storage or transportation, while the remaining portion evaporates and becomes a gas. Saturated pressure, also known as gas elasticity, is the state that the process reaches once it has stabilized and found equilibrium in the liquid/gas ratio. This enables gas to leak out of the tank.
In addition, because LPG has the ability to change from a gaseous to a liquid form at a very low pressure, huge amounts of LPG can be stored in modest-sized tanks and containers. Because of this, it is now possible to utilize propane-butane as an automotive fuel. This fuel has a high efficiency and is not less technically advanced than other types of motor fuel. The mass fraction of butane and propane has an impact on how well LPG performs. Different indicators are present for these elements:

Quality Passport
Consumers must receive liquefied gas that complies with specific standards outlined in GOST 5542-87. Samples are subjected to laboratory examination to check its qualities; the results are noted in the quality certificate. The following details are included in this document:
— mass fraction of constituent components in percent;
— the volume fraction of the liquid residue at a temperature of 20°C (no more than 1.6 for PT, and 1.6 for SPBT);
Winter and summer variants of the basin can be recognized based on the varying rates of gas evaporation. Propane levels between 75 and 95% in winter fuel help to good volatility in extremely harsh frost conditions, while propane levels between 60 and 60 percent in summer fuel avoid overpressure owing to high temperatures.
Liquefied gas grades
The following grades of liquefied gas are permitted by GOST 27578-87:
– PT technical propane (propane volume from 75%);
– BT technical butane (butane volume from 60%);
— PA car propane (propane volume from 75%);
– PBA propane butane for automobiles (butane volume from 60%);
– SPBT mixture of propane-butane technical (butane volume up to 60%).
— excess vapor pressure at 45°C (not more than 1.6 MPa);
— the content of mercaptan sulfur and hydrogen sulfide (the norm for sulfur is not more than 0.013, for hydrogen sulfide is not more than 0.003);
— water and alkali content;
— odor intensity.
Gaseous liquefied hydrocarbons fall under the second category of hazards. Special tank trucks that can both transport and fill are employed for its transportation.
