Aksu Exploration provides a variety of diesel fuel substitutes at affordable costs, with delivery to the customer’s facility by its own specialized vehicle. Diesel fuel has a wide range of applications and is expensive, thus there is a great need for less expensive alternatives. These alternatives are made from direct distillation diesel fractions by adding gas oils, oil-refining waste, fuel oil, and special additives. The most well-known members of this group of fuel components are:

All of these diesel fuel substitutes have properties with diesel fuel and can be used with specific nozzles to produce a cloud for additional burning.

Domestic stove fuel

Refineries manufacture home heating oil to meet the demands of agricultural businesses, the public utility sector, and other industries that employ liquid fuel thermal installations. It is a perfect analog to diesel, but it varies in that it has a broader variety of fractions. GOST 305-82 states that in order to obtain diesel, 96% of the fractions must be distilled at 360 ° C, but for heating oil, this percentage is 90%. Diesel fuel has a significantly lower viscosity index than furnace fuel. According to TU 38. 101656-87, the properties of fuel for domestic stoves are as follows:

Fuel according to specifications

Fuel materials developed in accordance with specified technical specifications (TU) are one of the types of furnace and marine low-viscosity fuels. Many refineries provide naval fuel and alternate heating choices. Since there is no GOST for this type of fuel, it can be manufactured under different technological circumstances. Kerosene and SMT, less expensive fuel materials acquired from the distillation of diesel fractions, as well as particular additives to give the required properties specified by the standards, may be added during the production process.

Marine low viscosity fuel

With an average molecular weight of 180, this substitute for diesel fuel is a blend of aromatic and paraffinic hydrocarbons. According to TU 38.101 567-2022, the specifications for SMT characteristics are established. Diesel engines and marine machinery are fueled with low-viscosity marine fuel. The low cetane number and greater sulfur content of these fuel ingredients set them apart from diesel in terms of performance. There are three different forms of SMT depending on the sulfur content:

low sulfur fuel

International rules call for a decreased sulfur content in diesel fuel and its equivalents every year, based on environmental protection concerns. This amount shouldn’t be higher than 0.5% for fuel with low sulfur content. Such fuel is produced by further hydrotreating petroleum distillates with a low sulfur level.

Low-sulfur fuel is primarily used in naval power plants, although some types can also be utilized in internal combustion engines when the proper lubricity-boosting additives are added. Particularly well-liked is low-sulfur heating oil for homes. Its attributes are:

Distillate of gas condensate

A distillate is the liquid combination of hydrocarbons that is produced when hydrocarbon gas condensate is distilled. They resemble diesel fuel quite a bit based on their features, and they even have some advantages, such as cheaper price and a reduced concentration of sulfur compounds.

Dark heating oil

Dark heating oil is the liquid fuel option with the lowest cost. TU 38. 101656-87 provides a description of this product’s properties. Since this product has a lower energy efficiency than light heating oil, it is typically utilized as a cost-effective energy carrier for heating systems with medium and low power. For heating homes, cottages, and commercial structures, dark heating oil is fairly common. The absence of stringent storage requirements is one of this material’s benefits. The effectiveness of black heating oil and its relatively low freezing point (-15°C), which helps to good fluidity in the winter season, can also be included as positive traits.
