In Kazakhstan and other nations where it conducts business, Aksu Exploration complies fully with all applicable local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental (henceforth referred to as HSE) laws. The Company places a high priority on environmentally friendly practices and safe working conditions for its contractors and staff at all of its locations. When it comes to safety, Aksu Exploration does not distinguish between company employees and contractor employees, giving both groups the identical rights and enforcing the same HSE standards. The HSE Policy permits all employees, including those of contractors, to decline to perform work that could endanger the lives of others, their health, or the environment. The largest company in the fuel and energy sector in the world as well as the leader of the Kazakhstan oil and gas industry, Aksu Exploration is aware of the nature and extent of its influence as well as its corresponding.

responsibilities. High-level strategic HSE goals are still being established as a result.

The business seeks to elevate the bar for workplace and production safety. Zero deaths (FAR indicator, contractors included) and zero process safety events (PSER-1 indicator) were highlighted by Aksu Exploration in its public statement Aksu Exploration Contribution to Implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and other publications. A sizable portion of Aksu Exploration workforce is made up of contractors and subcontractors. The business made the decision to gather information on critical HSE indicators and include contractors and subcontractors in the reporting perimeter as a result while establishing its strategic HSE objectives.

Aksu Exploration has developed strict reporting transparency rules, and all injuries—including those suffered by contractors—are daily recorded, regardless of how little or serious they are. Each Company management is responsible for meeting HSE goals on their own, setting a personal example of safety, and acting as an HSE leader. HSE metrics are part of the company’s annual KPIs for CEOs, heads of subsidiaries, and other individuals. An Integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSE IMS), which adheres to global best practices, is used by the Company to manage its HSE operations.

The HSE IMS is a part of the company’s overall management system and represents the steps taken to successfully manage risks, opportunities, compliance control, and ongoing HSE performance improvement. It also includes organizational structure and resources. The business confirms each year that its HSE IMS meets with ISO standards (and/or Kazakhstan GOST R ISO standards). The Company gives collaborations that present chances for information sharing and enhanced HSE procedures significant consideration. For this purpose, Aksu Exploration frequently hosts partnership forums.
